This is just one of the events in the St. Patrick’s Day festival line up. It also includes Jape at the RHA, which sadly is already booked out! There’s more than a few events, so check out the full list here.
This event is a floating cinema in Grand Canal Dock! I kid you not. Hopefully they get a good night for it. Full details are here.
There’s also a couple of screenings of ‘Remembering Luke Kelly at O’Donoghue’s pub on Merrion Roe, free but booking required. Full details here.
‘I a Beckett Clown’ will be run by Barabbas Theatre company on Sat March 15th. Could be interesting also, details here.
Details on Floating Cinema: Happenings, in association with the St. Patrick’s Day Festival & Waterways Ireland are bringing ‘Waking Ned Devine’ to the Grand Canal Dock Plaza on Sunday 16th March. The film will be screened from a barge. Everyone welcome & free entry
Just as the charming British film The Full Monty told the story of simple men willing to shed their clothes for money, Waking Ned Devine is the story of older Irish men who pursue money and take off their clothes.
