Hear his distinctive “Scofieldesque” sound, stylistic diversity and improvisational excellence as he shares a stage with 54 musicians performing six-time-Grammy-winning Vince Mendoza’s stunning arrangements.
Scofield’s music generally falls somewhere between post-bop, funk-edged jazz, and R&B. One of the most versatile and prolific composer-arranger-conductors of the last two decades, Mendoza has written arrangements for everyone from Joni Mitchell to Björk.
