This should be lots of fun. There’s events all over the city from the 26th to the 29th of October, and most of the events are FREE!

The Literature Section has a variety of big names including John Boyne (at 5.30 on the 26th). and also an appreciation of Hammer Horror movies among others.

The Film section is dominated by Kim Newman’s Stoker on the Square festival with 6 Dracula based movies for you to Enjoy. The Monster Squad, Dracula (1931) and The Brides of Dracula (1960) are just some of the films you can enjoy! There’s also the Adams Family as part of the Happenings series, this time in Christ Church Cathedral on the 27th at 6pm.

The Culture Bites section has such Dracula: Lift after Death in the Little Museum of Dublin (daily from Oct 25th to Nov 25th) and Le Cool do their own take on the Bram Stoker Festival, with a walking tour with a difference (Think the ghost bus without wheels!). – €6 (€3 if bought in advance)

There’s also a Family section for all the little nippers, including a Vampire hunt and Dracula’s Fire Garden.
