Some music, when you hear it for the first time, can hit the spot or scratch and itch you didn’t really realise you had. When I heard a few tracks from Melbourne band Milk Teddy’s album Zingers I was immediately captivated. It has a very warm, melodic and almost joyous feel. It reminds me a little of the Pastels mixed with Trash Can Sinatras. Anyway, it’s lovely stuff and one of a few bands I’ve heard recently from Melbourne making great music. More posts to follow on those.
