A part of my head still thinks of Low as a new band, but considering their first release was in 1994, nearly 20 years ago, it’s pretty hard to argue. They shot to fame with their 2001 album ‘Things we lost in the fire’ (Kranky, 2001) which was a soft, slow and quite beautiful album which included ‘Dinosaur Act’.
They released their 10th album ‘The Invisible Way’ (Sub Pop) this year, and contains the gems ‘Just make it Stop’ and ‘Clarence White’. They’re touring Ireland next week, and are not to be missed.
