This is one of those rambling festivals, with events in bars/ venues all around Dublin. The main venues involved are Whelans, Workman’s Club, The Grand Social, the Stag’s Head, The Globe and The Mercantile. I’ve a soft spot for these events, as you can catch ten minutes of a band, and if it’s not your scene, hit the road to the next venue, which is only ever five minutes away.

It’s a free festival, but they will be collecting for Focus Ireland at all events, so please give generously.

Friday Night highlights include the Hot Sprokets in Whelans and John Blek and the Rats in the Workman’s club. Saturday Night highlights include I Draw Slow in Whelans and the North Strand Kontra Band in the Workman’s Club.
