It’s quality rather than quantity with a couple of very good new gigs on the horizon! The Chromatics are playing the Village on the 13th of June. It’s rare to see a gig in the Village these days, but it looked pretty good the other night in the Meteor Camden Crawl Dublin, so nice to see it getting a band that will surely sell out.
Full gig guide is below, with a couple of new additions, such as the Christians in Buck Whaleys and Imagine Dragons in the Olympia. Rebekka Karijord is back in the Workman’s club on the 18th of May also, and we really quite like her.
I’m not sure whether the Slayer gig is going ahead with the death of their guitarist Jeff Hanneman, but there has been no announcement that the tour has been cancelled (Jeff wasn’t playing, so I presume it’s going ahead!). Sad news for Heavy metal fans the world over.
