To celebrate Ireland being the kings of Europe (well, the European presidency anyway), a lovely site has been put together called The Poetry Project. It’s aim is to make the world a slightly better place!

What better way to start the week, wherever you are in the world?

Every week, from January 1st 2013, we will be uploading a poem and accompanying video artwork, in celebration of Ireland’s literary and visual creativity.”

It’s one of those web sites you can wander through for hours, or alternatively, just visit for a few minutes every Monday!

Some of my favorites include Nick Miller/ John F Deane and Grace Weir/ Derek Mahon.There’s also a lovely fair ground piece by Gary Coyle/ Peter Sirr.
