John Murry – Workman’s Club – May 9th

John Murry Workman's Club

The Kilkenny Roots Festival just keeps on getting more and more tempting!

John Murry is doing the rounds of Ireland in early May, and his debut solo album ‘The Graceless Age’ was released last year, to much acclaim.

Two amazing facts:

1. He’s a second cousin to William Faulkner (says the press release anyway, so it must be true!)

2. ‘The Graceless Age’ was produced in San Francisco by Murry and Tim Mooney of American Music Club, who sadly passed away in 2012.

He’s playing four dates around Ireland if you like what you hear below:

May 4th & 5th-Kilkenny Roots Festival, Kilkenny

May 9th-The Workmans Club, Dublin

May 10th-Roisin Dubh, Galway

May 11th- Crane Lane, Cork
