Ireland really does an odd ball thing for singer songwriters. David Gray was huge here and nowhere else, after Donal Dineen played him for a few months on ‘No Disco’. The next example that springs to mind is Josh Ritter, who again seems to be bigger in Dublin than he is pretty much anywhere else on the planet!

There’s a new member of the club anyway, as ‘The Tallest Man on Earth‘ plays the Iveagh Gardens on July 12th. I doubt he’s playing outdoor venues in hometown Sweden!
