Who do these guys remind you of? I’m thinking there’s a touch of Flea in the bass lines, and probably a bit of Battles in theres too. Regardless, I’m enjoying it, so they’re worth a mention. Here’s what the press release has to say for itself.

“Time and Energy is a California-based indie/experimental rock duo who incorporate loops, guitars, keys, clarinets, and a sense of real exploration and strangeness in their music. Their influences range from the festive rhythms of Battles to the melodic crooning of Radiohead, with some Badly Drawn Boy and Dead Weather in there for good measure.”
