Yes, this may be the first Festival of 2013, and should kick off the season nicely. I have to say this is the oddest concept of a festival. Why call a festival in Ireland after a successful festival in another country? I guess Camden has kudos!
I really enjoyed this festival last year, even if I did very little in the way of crawling (I just sat in Whelans! It must be my age). Fionn Regan and Ghostpoet were really impressive last time around, so looking forward to the line up which is announced at the end of the month.
“Over three days from May 3rd to 5th, Dublin’s fair city will come alive with the sounds of over 150 groundbreaking acts both Irish and International, a score of special guests, and the stomp of the faithful ‘Crawlers’ as they march their way through music Mecca!”
says the press release.
