The great Mr. Cohen will be back in town, on September 11th and 12th. His gigs in Kilmainham caused quite a fuss back in 2008, as people realised that Lenny wasn’t simply treading water, and had a stage show worthy of his huge reputation. He’s returning to Kilmainham this time (after a couple of gigs in the O2 last time out).
This will be part of his ‘Old Ideas’ tour, so will probably feature a lot of the new album (which is pretty good), but I’d expect you should get a batch of the old ones also. Enough to keep you singing on the way home. Tickets from 80 euro (plus rip off fees) on sale from Friday at 9 AM at the usual spots.
I really like the new album. €80… wow.
Yeah, I’m sure he’ll play Sweden for half nothing though! You’ll be fine. The Swedes can’t afford expensive tickets, not like us Irish!
