You ever have one of those weeks? The cinema certainly is. Ok, lets see, ahhhh… a crap remake of ‘The three musketeers’ in 3D, ahhh…. a crap remake of ‘Footloose’ (which was also crap first time around, I’m not sure if it’s better or worse, but I’m not clicking on any reviews to find out)…. aaahhhhh, a kid’s movie about Robots starring Hugh Jackman called ‘Real Steel’.
Ah, here’s something, a Morgan Spurlock Documentary called ‘The greatest movie never sold’. It’s about product placement. Honest! No really, it is, I’m not making that up.
Parked wins this week, by default (the two sweetest words in the English language, according to Homer). It stars Chief O’Brien (Colm Meaney) and is meant to be a bit slow, but nice enough, in a Lenny Abramhason (Adam and Paul) kinda way. There really is very little on, maybe go to the theatre?
Oh, there’s a showing of ‘Superheroes‘ in Filmbase tonight, along with a skype interview with the director. The film is based on the lives of real life superheroes (or at least the people who think they are). Sounds fun.
