Favourite Sons

Ken Griffin of Favourite Sons posted a comment in our recent post on Rollerskate Skinny, saying that Jimi Shields only played with the first Rollerskate Skinny album,  which is funny, as this exact point came up while watching Jimi before J Mascis the other night. I meant to go through my old CD cases and check it up, as the internet seems to be failing me on this point. Sloppy journalism is something I’ve always believed in strongly, so I’m not going to apologise.

Ken’s new band The Favourite Sons new album ‘The Great Deal of Love’ will be out in May, and they’re also making appearances in Forbidden Fruit and Cork by Southwest. Definitely something worth checking out.

You can read a recent interview with Ken here and you can keep up to date with the band on their facebook page here.
