Nick Cave returns to town, with his Grinderman this time. I’ve never been entirely convinced by Griderman, which is odd, as I have such a soft spot for Nick. They generally play the louder side of Nick’s music, which isn’t his best, in my opinion. They are a four piece with Nick (Vocals, guitar and piano), Warren Ellis (Violin), Martyn Casey (bass) and Jim Sclavunos (drums).

Tickets go on sale on Friday for the very nice venue of Vicar street (but also means it’ll sell out in seconds) and are priced at 49.90 on June 18th, and in Cork on June 20th.Tough choice this one, what’s the general opinion on Griderman?
