Bardo Pond are a six piece American band with lots of heavy layered guitar sounds and softly lilting vocals, not a world away from someone like My Bloody Valentine, although without the synth sounds. I’m pretty impressed, I have to say, and they’ve long been on my list of bands to check out, so will look forward to seeing them next week. Hopefully they clash with Neurosis!
