First off, Kilkenny arts festival is only around the corner. It has a very strong visual arts section in it, with names such as Willie Doherty, Willian McKeown, Ethne Jordan among many others. If you’re in the area, you should check it out, as well as the always interesting Visual in Carlow (which still has the remnants of the Eigse festival, so well worth a visit).

Anyway, that is a side issue, as i only really wanted to tell you about Tindersticks, playing in St. Canice’s Cathedral on Sunday the 15th of August. It being a School night, its a tough choice, but would be a lovely venue for the band. Tickets are 35 and 37 euro. There are others bits and pieces of music, but nothing jumping out at me!
