Something really special is happening in Granby Park on Dominic Street, just at the back of the Ilac centre. It’s one of those positive news stories that rarely gets a mention, people donating their time to make their environment a better place. Granby Park is an urban ‘pop up’ park that is located on a vacant site. It’s open for a month between August 22nd and Sept 22nd, so get on down to check it out. This Saturday would be a perfect excuse, as there’s a whole day of things to see and do, from the wonderful Happenings team.
