Album of the Week – 07/11/25
This week sees new releases from the likes of Westerman (A Jackal’s Wedding), Whitney (Small Talk) and the ever dependable Steve Gunn (Daylight Daylight).
For our album of the week, we went for the sixth album by Midlake and their “most emotionally resonant work to date”, according to the press release. Who knew?
Album of the Week – Midlake – A Bridge To Far
“The album is as good as any previous Midlake album; in fact, it might even be their best. The songs feel timeless, and the album will wash over you like autumn sunlight. It’s calming, healing music for stressful times.” – From our review by Killian Laher here.
