Album of the Week – 21/03/25

We declare this week a good one! Well, for new music at least, we’re not commenting on global politics which is a bit of a mess really.

There’s a lovely new album from Japanese Breakfast (For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women)) and My Morning Jacket (is). There is more freewheelin from Jeffrey Lewis (The EVEN MORE Freewheelin’ Jeffrey Lewis) and there really is no better man for it.

This week, we’ve gone for The Horrors and their new album Night Life.

Albums of the Week –  The Horrors – Night Life

“It’s definitely an album worth waiting eight years for, and if there’s a better moody, post-punk album in 2025, that will be some achievement. An early shout for indie album of the year?” – Killian Laher from our review which you can find here.
