Live Music: Wardruna – 3Olympia, Dublin – 23rd of March, 2025

Wardruna are possibly Norway’s answer to Lankum, in that they play a brand of intense, folk-inspired doom drone.  Or maybe a metal-soaked Midlake?  They arrive in Dublin to promote their recent album Birna, their fifth overall.  Far from a mellow evening ahead, it promises to be an evening full of Norse blood and thunder.  The musical onslaught will be fleshed out with heavy riffs, flutes and loads in between!

They play Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre this Sunday 23rd of March and promises to be an interesting evening.
