Album of the Week – 14/02/25

There’s a new album from The Delines, a band that includes the talents of Willy Vlautin who has been focusing more on novels in recent times. You can check out Mr. Luck and Ms. Doom below.  Marshall Allen (of Sun Ra Arkestra) has just released New Dawn.  Another lovely new release is Horsegirl and the soft sounds of ‘Phonetics On and On’.

For our album of the week, we went for a gem from Denison Witmer (Anything At All) that really deserves to be heard! Sufjan Stevens produced and also performs on the album, so you know what to expect.

Album of the Week – Denison Witmer – Anything At All

Singer / songwriter Denison Witmer announced his new album Anything At All will release on February 14th through Asthmatic Kitty Records. Produced and recorded by Sufjan Stevens, who also performs throughout the album, Anything At All is a new collection of ten vibrant and pensive folk-pop songs that finds the two longtime friends and collaborators working more closely than ever before on a cohesive, elegant creative effort. Denison also shared the new single from the album called ‘Focus Ring’, a plaintive ballad on the idea of extending generosity to yourself and others.
