Katy J Pearson today shares new single and music video for “Maybe”, four mesmerizing minutes of glorious ultra-melodic pop music.

Katy is the sound of the summer we should be having, rather the one we’re usually gifted. Effortlessly evocative of long evenings cooled by a welcome breeze, of soft sand between the toes and the sweetest sounds on the FM dial, foot down and accelerating to the West Coast (of Great Britain), her songs are immediately transportive, possessing an uncanny ability to lift the listener out of the everyday and into a sunshine state.

September 20th sees the release of Katy’s third long player on Heavenly Recordings, the outstanding Someday, Now. Recorded in Wales with producer Nathan Jenkins (aka Bullion) Joel Burton and a pair of Heavenly labelmates Davey Newington (Boy Azooga) and Huw Evans (H Hawkline), the album is home to the BBC6 Music playlisted single “Those Goodbyes”, and the recently released “Sky”.
