Album of the Week – 08/03/24

Some great new Irish music this week, with Oisin Leech (Cold Sea) and Marry Waterson & Adrian Crowley (Cuckoo Storm). it made picking our favourite album of the week really quite a challenge! In the end, we went for the wonderful John Lambert, aka Chequerboard and his new album Souvenir.

Album of the Week – Chequerboard – Souvenir

“Take time out to sit with this one, away from the noise and hubbub of the ‘day to day’.  Although instrumental, it’s absolutely not background music.  More subtle than the Unfolding but take your time with it and it’s just as rewarding.  It’s available here.” – Killian Laher
