Revelino were one of the great lost bands from the 1990s. While Brendan Tallon and Ciaran Tallon (as Klubber Lang) have released music in recent years, other members have been quiet. Until now that is. Ex-Revelino guitarist Bren Berry releases his first ever solo single Winter Song today, a taster from a forthcoming solo album. It’s shimmering slice of melancholy reminiscent of Richard Hawley with strings performed by the Orphan Quartet. There’s a storming guitar solo midway through as well! On the evidence of this, it’s going to be an album worth listening out for in 2024.
