One of my favourite live bands return to our shores for a night in Vicar street! The date in question is the 5th of October, with tickets going on sale next Wednesday for the nice price of €32.

There’s also a couple of tasters released from their new album Painted Ruins which will be released on August 18th. The two songs indicate that the album will continue with a fairly consistent sound to what has gone before. Are we complaining? I think not! Enjoy them below.

Today, Grizzly Bear has announced the August 18 release of PAINTED RUINS, their highly anticipated fifth full-length album, and first for RCA Records. In addition, the band has shared new album track “Mourning Sound.” That song follows “Three Rings,” another track from PAINTED RUINS released earlier this month and hailed as “spellbinding” (Rolling Stone), “insistent” (The New York Times), and “a sonically ambitious return” (Pigeons & Planes).
