New Irish Music – Bouts/The Evertides

Here are a couple of new Irish releases well worthy of a mention. Firstly, indie beasts Bouts unleashed the colourful video for “Allies”. It’s the second song to be released from their forthcoming EP, Unlearn, which is due for release on Feb 29th.

Second up is the first offering from the all-female musical trio The Evertides. Their EP, simply called EP, was made available for download on their bandcamp page this afternoon. It’s a beautifully realised exercise in folk song vocal harmony deliciousness. Check it out below:
