Choice is always a good thing, and the return of 8radio to our airwaves will certainly give us that! It is the brainchild of Simon Maher who was responsible for the original Phantom FM, so you know what to expect! It is being granted a temporary license, details are below.

From May 24th 8Radio.com will be broadcast live in Dublin (94.3FM), Cork (106.7FM) and Limerick (105.5FM) and will run every Saturday and Sunday until July 6th 2014 and again at weekends from September 6th to October 27th.

8Radio.com returns to FM in 3 cities from May 24th!

8Radio.com, the multi-genre music station is delighted to announce its return to FM in Dublin, Cork and Limerick from Saturday May 24th.

The past 12 months have seen 8Radio.com go from strength to strength, providing a unique music service to listeners. Since its launch in Spring 2013, 8Radio.com has become known as the station that plays brand new music, classic tracks and everything in between, for audiences who are ignored by traditional radio stations. 8Radio.com broadcasts 7 days a week with specialist music programmes each weeknight evening and live programmes all weekend.

At 8Radio.com we believe we have found a niche among music lovers and those who may not currently consume much, if any, traditional FM radio.

8Radio.com is brought to listeners through a variety of platforms, including live Internet streaming, bespoke Smartphone Applications, and a temporary FM license.
