As we mentioned earlier in the week, it’s the anniversary of the battle of Clontarf on the 23rd of April. A thousand years ago, there was a battle where King Brian Boru died. Pretty cool, huh?

To commemorate the battle, there are a number of events around the City, with lectures, exhibitions and musical events. You can find full details here.

One such event, will take place on Good Friday at 12PM on Clontarf Promenade.
