On my list of people I’d like to see ruling the planet, Michael Franti would be front and centre, and I think anyone that has seen him play live would agree. He could have made a great cult leader, but he chose to use his infinite charisma for good! He’s the only man I’ve ever seen live, that could get the Village bouncing on a Monday evening (a near impossible feat), and you’ve a chance to see him in action in Whelans on May 9th!
