Tera Melos are one of those bands that have been mentioned in all the right places. The Californian trio play the Workman’s Club on Saturday Feb 1st, with tickets at €10. Support on the night will come from Simon Bird and Turning Down Sex.

However, if you want to go a little bit old school on us, you could do a lot worse that Hall & Oates. Let’s be honest, these guys don’t need to be considered guilty pleasures, just classic 80’s! They play the Olympia on July 15th with tickets at €33.50.

If you’re feeling very, very cheesy though, there’s always Chaz n Dave in Vicar street for a massive price of €45 on April 11th. Still, I have to admit to singing snooker loopy all too often. ‘we’ll show you what we can do with a load of balls and a snooker cue’.
