What better way to usher in a new year than to be in the presence of DJ royalty? Yes, the bold Donal Dineen is one of the highlights of the Hootenanny in the Grand Social on New Year’s Eve. Donal is responsible for a generation of music lovers, due to his great shows on Network 2 and Today FM. Also on the bill is Laser Tom, Adultrock and DJ’s Nightflight crew, I Am The Cosmos, Donal Dineen, Handsome Paddy and This Greedy Pig.

It’s another AAA 3 room NYE extravaganza at The Grand Social courtesy of Nightflight – once again we’ll be bringing a whole heap of local talent together to ring in the New Year the only way we know how – with much rave whistling and merriment.

With live action coming from heavyweight local heroes Laser Tom, Adultrock as well as the hotly tipped February and Mars, not to mention DJ sets from all the entire Nightflight crew, I Am The Cosmos, Donal Dineen, Handsome Paddy and This Greedy Pig.

This year we’ll also be inviting the Downtownsounds crew to take over the newly revamped smoking area, which now has a retractable roof, it’s own bar and a custom made DJ booth.
