Yes, Joan is back in town, for the first time in ages! She seemed to be over here about once a month a while back, but I guess she’s been recording as there’s a new album on the horizon also. The first taster from ‘The Classic’ is below. See what you think.

Tickets for the gig in the Button Factory go on sale this Friday at 9am from Ticketmaster and all the normal sources cost €20.

Joan will be touring her much anticipated new album “The Classic”, which comes out in early March 2014 on Play It Again Sam. As ever, Joan strives to create music rooted in intimate, elemental soul, combined with her own unique serene, torch-singing temperament.
