Whatever makes one band an overnight success and others never get a break, it’s hard to say, but the one thing that seems to have very little to do with it is talent. Some of the best and brightest bands in the Irish scene never break outside that scene. There’s news of another band calling it a day when Fred play their final tour this December, and you can see them in Whelans this Dec 8th.
“We have enjoyed our time making music together immensely but simply it’s now time for us to move on. We would like to thank all our fans, friends, families who have supported us over the years. We also offer a big thank you to all of the artists who we have had the pleasure of sharing stages with and the all of the venues who continue to promote live music.”
