The video for Kaplin’s new single was shot on Capel Street, in Brother Hubbard cafe. It stars Janet Moran as the girlfriend who is trying to show someone her new shoes, while being ignored! The song itself is a dreamy little track songs that Tindersticks/ Spain would be happy with.

Kaplin are from Dublin and Donegal, and the lists of bands they’ve opened did enough to perk my interest “Gallon Drunk, Howe Gelb, American Music Club” a few of my favourites on that list.
