There was a lot of hype about Oneohtrix Point Never’s album Replica in 2011. Oddly enough, I would normally be looking forward to hearing an album that is ambient/electronic etc but the first few tunes I heard from it didn’t quite click for whatever reason and I never got around to actually hearing the album properly. Anyway, I heard the album through for the first time the other night and it’s sounding pretty interesting. Here’s a new demo from the last couple of weeks. Again, very nice sounds. Feels both futuristic and retro at the same time…
