The first single from the Magnetic Field’s new album has hit the net and as ever, it’s lots of fun.

“I’ve always been a ladies man and I don’t have to brag, but I become a Mama’s boy for Andrew in Drag.

I’ll thrown away my trust fund, I would even sell the Jag, if I could spend my mispent youth with Andrew in Drag.”

The premise of the song seems to be similar to when Bugs Bunny used to dress up like a lady with Elmer Fudd. Instantly Elmer would become a bag of nerves and start blushing as he sees the form of his true love. Swap Bugs for Andrew and you get the idea.

They play the Olympia in Dublin on April 28th, tickets are 27.50, which isn’t too bad really!
