Saturday is post rock day at ATP, with Battles taking over the curating mantel. So, what’s in store, i hear you cry? Well…

Bitch Magnet is a great name for a band! They’re a ‘post hardcore’ (what ever that means) band who formed in Ohio. Dave Grubbs featured briefly, and will hopefully show up with them this time around.

Flying Lotus got a lot of plaudits in last year’s ‘Best of 2010’ reviews. He’s a producer by the name of Steven Ellison From California.

His live shows look a little like this.

Washed out is the stage name for Ernest Greene and again got a lot of praise for his latest (and first) album released this year. Actually, there’s a lot more electronic music here than i would have expected.

Otherwise, there’s a few more electronic bands such as the Field and Gary Numan among others.
