I went to the Oliver Sears Gallery on Molesworth street recently, and was pretty stunned by the work on display. The work itself is dazzling in it’s complexity,  and the level of skill involved in creating shapes and forms of this type out of wood is immense. It is made all the more impressive by the fact that Joe is only 31 years of age, which is hard to believe that you could work of this type at such a tender age. He’s certainly a name to watch, and you should have a look at the exhibition if you can. It runs until the 27th of January, so no excuses!
