Northumberland’s finest, the Unthanks have always seemed like pretty serious musicians, but this is just showing off, isn’t it? They’re playing Whelnas (13th Dec) with a full ten piece band, with strings, piano and guitar, and will be performing songs by Anthony and the Johnsons and Robert Wyatt. Tickets are going for €25.90, and considering the amount of people on stage, isn’t too bad i guess.
