I saw Patrick Wolf a few months back, when he played the Sugar Club, just before his new album was released. Obviously things have gone well for him, as he’s returning to play the Academy in October, which is a fair step up in a few months!

He grew up in London, but has lots of Irish relations, who were all at the show that night. On one of his trips into the crowd, he announced that the woman he was hugging was his Auntie Mary! Very rock and roll.

Patrick Wolf will be back in Ireland in October.
