Donal at one time decided what cool was in Ireland. I remember looking forward to ‘No Disco’ which ran every Thursday night and featured the best of alternative music. Since then he’s worked on Today FM, with the small hour show which starts at 12am, and I only get to hear when I’m suffering from insomnia! You can listen to it here though, and he still has an interesting selection of music on it (although at times a little bit too dancey for my tastes).

Donal has also been playing and curating a lot of music events around Ireland in recent times, and has moved that one step further with Parish recordings.The first release on this label is produced by Donal, and features the talents of Aminah Dastan, Liam O’Maonlai and Rónán O Snodaigh among others.
