Ah, there was none! Ok, I’m slightly surprised they gave everything to a movie that is essentially English, but according to the bookies, it went exactly with form! I had to look up the guy (James Franco) that presented them with Ann Hathaway, turns out he was Harry Osborn in Spiderman 3!

As ever, the best movies and actors didn’t even make the list, but out of what was there, I think True Grit or Winter’s Bone should have won best movie. King’s Speech was an average period piece, that was entertaining enough but nothing special. Actress I would have given to Jennifer Lawrence for Winter’s Bone, and Actor to Jeff Bridges. Supporting Actress was a hugely difficult one to judge, as most of them were very good. Jacki Weaver in Animal Kingdom was great though.
