One gig that might be worth a heading along to, is Richter Collective’s show at the Button factory next Friday (14th of Jan). It features Not Squares, Bats and Enemies among others. I saw Not Squares at the much discussed Les Savy Fav gig on new years eve, and was impressed, a bit like an Irish LCD Soundsystem.

Richter Collective are an independent Irish Label who have been making waves (admittedly small ones) with bands such as Adebisi Shanks and Not Squares. I think Phantom FM could be said to be responsible for the small and blossoming underground music scene here at the moment, and its certainly a good thing.
