According to the BBC (via the guardian), the Libertines are being paid 1.5 million for their reunion gig at Reading and Leeds this year. I presume that’s for both gigs, but even so, that’s a bit shocking that they earn those kind of sums.

Can anyone name one of their songs? I certainly can’t. Still, you have to love Pete for his face off  with Pat Kenny on the late late a few years back. Maybe they’ll bring Pat over to join them on stage!

The Libertines are only second on the bill, so you’d have to ask how much Arcade Fire are getting as head liners. The Walkmen are last on the bill, and a better band than either Arcade or the Libertines, so i’m going to list one of their songs below!
